The sun is shining in London for the third day in a row, the weather is hot, and I am done with practice, been done for a couple of days now, oh bless.
The practice actually turned out to be less scary than I first thought, and better, more educational, even motivational.
I have loads of ‘me-time’ now, and ‘me-and-Mr.ROK-time’, in London. London is best enjoyed when you have time off, time to live it, not just live in it, and I’m happy to do just that.
I have spent my days off visiting dogs in need of homes, walking bear legged in parks, and eating rose flavored macaroons. I have had purple drinks in candlelit bars, and eaten crayfish under a starry sky. There is beauty all around, and now I have time to notice it, and the best thing is; I have one more week to go, before I go, and there is loads more of this to come.
“Pick the day. Enjoy it – to the hilt. The day as it comes. People as they come… The past, I think, has helped me appreciate the present – and I don’t want to spoil any of it by fretting about the future.” Audrey Hepburn
