We’ve all had a bad hair day at one point (I presume), me more than most with roots that have a tendency to grease up 4 hours after a shower.. utterly annoying. As you may or may not know, a little bit of the magic oil-absorbing-dust known as ‘dry-shampoo’ goes a long way to keep your hair looking fresh, FAST, and is also great for adding texture and volume. I’ve long been on the lookout for a dry-shampoo to degrease my roots without leaving behind a dusty white residue, not exactly flattering on my dark hair.
I was looking forward to trying Batiste’s, as I knew they come in several shades to fit a number of hair colors, from blonde, light-brown, to this one, for dark brown hair. It comes in a spray bottle so is easily applied, and it does NOT leave any trace of whiteness behind, but disappears, like magic.
At the price of £4 for 200 ml at Boots, its a fantastic budget buy!
Highly recommended.

Rolah, I’ve surprised myself by following your blog quite regularly, despite up to now being relatively uninterested in skin-care and beauty. I have two things I’ve been wondering about recently. One is the positive/negative effects of coffee (on skin and health more generally speaking), the other to with BB-cream, this product being quite hyped-up in Asia, where I’ve now spent a few years. It would be much appreciated if you could offer some professional insight into this phenomenon. Anyway, good work on your blog, I enjoy reading it a lot!
Hello Karen! Thank you for following, and I’m so happy you like what you’re reading! There’s a lot to beauty and skin-care, and I think we all deal with it somehow, even if we’re not that aware of it, our skin is sort of a barrier between ourselves and the outside world in a sense, an interface of communication between us and it. I’ve been wanting to write about coffey and skin! It’s something I keep hearing and reading contradictory things about. I will put it on my “to-do” list, and I have done a garneir bb cream review, if you search for it in the search field, it should pop up, I only mention a little bit about the phenomenon it self though, I’ll have a look at it more deeply and see what I come up with. Thank you for asking such interesting questions! I highly appreciate it.
Hope you’re doing well!
Rolah
